embarc joins forces with OPUS

September 10, 2025

Since we launched embarc in 2022, our mission has been simple:

To help more people take the leap into entrepreneurship.

Over the past few years, we’ve built a thriving community of ambitious, curious, and creative people who are exploring what it means to be a founder, many for the first time.

If you’ve come to an embarc event, joined a WhatsApp group, or met a co-founder through us, you know: this isn’t just about startups. It’s about confidence. It’s about momentum. It’s about finding your people.

embarc has always stood for more open ecosystems – encouraging people to build the confidence, network and knowledge they need to jump into founding,” said Arya Tandon, Co-founder at embarc.

Now, we’re entering our next chapter by officially joining forces with OPUS.

Why OPUS?

Because we’ve always believed this community deserves a clear path forward.

Not everyone in embarc is ready to raise money or scale a company just yet... but some of you will be. And when you are, we want to make sure you have access to the support, the people, and the opportunities that can help you win.

That’s what OPUS offers.

Joining OPUS gives the community the platform to scale our mission faster and wider than ever,” said Daniel Jones, Co-founder at embarc. “This is just the start.

So what is OPUS?

OPUS is a global community for early-stage founders who are actively building and scaling their ventures. Think of it as the next step after embarc, for people who’ve taken the leap and are now looking to grow fast, with the right people around them.

OPUS is:

  • Vetted and curated: every member is building something meaningful
  • Founder-first: created by people who’ve been in your shoes
  • Global: with 1,000+ members across the UK, Middle East, and Africa
  • Connected: supported by a board that includes leaders like Imtiaz Patel, HRH Princess Beatrice, Miguel McKelvey (Co-founder of WeWork), and Marc Porat (Founder of General Magic)

And most importantly, OPUS is building real infrastructure for founder success, including programming, capital access, and peer-to-peer circles.

At OPUS, we believe founders deserve not just capital, but community, knowledge, and expertise to thrive,” said Ken Donald, Managing Director at OPUS. “embarc’s founder-first DNA aligns perfectly with our mission.

Where we go from here

We’re excited. Really excited.

This move gives embarc more firepower to support you, and a more powerful path forward for when you’re ready.

The OPUS family is super impressive intent,” said Chris Tottman, Founding GP at Notion Capital, who backed embarc early. “They really want to redefine the support ecosystem for early-stage founders, and we want to be doing it alongside them.”

If you’re part of the embarc community, you’re now officially part of the OPUS ecosystem.
Welcome Home.
